The Irish Society for Autism could not exist without your support. We welcome your participation, assistance and voluntary donations, to enable people with Autism to realise their full potential.

Throughout the year we organize a number of different fundraising events. To find out more contact us on (01) 874 4684 or email us at fundraising@autism.ie.

How can it help support the work of the Irish Society for Autism?

From 1st January 2013 the Irish Society for Autism can reclaim tax on all donations received over €250 where the individual donor paid income tax under self assessment, PAYE or Capital Gains Tax.

Since January 2013, higher and standard rates of tax no longer applies. There is now a composite rate of 31%. That would mean that a donation of €250 would be worth an extra €112.32 to the Irish Society for Autism.

It does not affect your tax situation in any way, but it can make a huge difference to People with Autism!

That’s why we are asking you to make your donations as tax efficient as you possibly can. A regular monthly contribution of just €21.00 is a convenient and efficient way that you can help support us in our vital work.

Regular monthly donations can help us plan our work more efficiently.

It is through the support of people that the Irish Society for Autism is able to continue to develop and improve services for people with Autism. Your annual gift of €250 is worth a total of €362.32.

A. Donations that total €250 or more in the calendar year.

A. As you are taxed as a married couple/registered civil partner, either party can make the donation once one party is paying tax.

A. Absolutely not.

Q. I am in receipt of a state pension—does this apply to me?
A. If you only receive the state pension, then you do not pay income tax. But if you have any other income at all, you probably pay some tax. The ISA can claim on this amount.
