‘Grace’ by Jody O’Neill

A new play for young people and families from Jody O’Neill (What I (Don’t) Know About Autism), Grace tells the story of a girl who has a relationship with her father where no words are needed. In fact, Grace doesn’t use words to talk at all.  This exciting new production explores family and communication as Grace and her father invite you into the multisensory landscape of Grace’s world.

The play will be shown in the Pavilion Theatre in Dun Laoghaire on Friday 27 Sep at 4pm, Saturday 28 Sep & Sunday 29 Sep at 1pm & 4pm. Each showing of the play will be a relaxed performance and audience members can move around, make noise or get up and leave and come back in at any time throughout the performance. There will be house lights on at low level for all the performances. There are no very loud noises or very bright flashing lights. There will be fidget toys and ear defenders available for anyone who needs them, or people can bring their own if they like. There will also be a tactile book available for anyone who would like to feel elements of the costume or designs to help them process the story.
