Research Study

Perceived stress levels among parents of children diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder in Ireland: How the severity of the condition effects parental perceived stress.

Lynn Walsh is a final year BA Psychology Major student in Dublin City University, and is conducting a research study which will examine perceived stress levels in parents of children diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.  The aim of the study is to identify if a parent’s perceived stress level increases as the severity of the child’s diagnosis increases.

Lynn is seeking participants residing in the Republic of Ireland who are parent to a child/children who have been diagnosed with ASD. Participation in this research involves completing an online survey which will take 5-10 minutes to complete.
