Christina O’Keeffe from the DCU Anti-Bullying Centre is undertaking a project funded by the Department of Education, entitled ‘Co-designing neuro-affirmative bullying prevention and intervention supports in conjunction with core stakeholders’.
The project focuses on examining the views of key stakeholders (i.e. parents, teachers, Special Needs Assistants, principals and children) with regards to the design and development of bullying interventions and supports for neurodivergent learners (aged 12-15 years).
The researchers are looking for parents of neurodivergent children, aged 12-15 years, to get in touch so theirs and their child’s voices can be heard in CoNARS (Co-designing Neuroaffirmative Anti-Bullying Resources and Supports)
If you would like to participate in this research please get in touch directly with the principal investigator Dr Christina O’Keeffe (christina.okeeffe@dcu.ie) for further information and to find out how you can inform future supports and research in this area.
