Intreo, the Public Employment Service provided by the Department of Social Protection, are hosting Work and Skills week from the 12th to the 16th of October 2026 with events taking place nationwide and online.
During Work and Skills week a series of job fairs and events will take place across Ireland to help people find work, learn about training opportunities, and connect with employers who are hiring. The week will bring together jobseekers, employers, education providers and support organisations to support people into employment, develop skills, and explore new career opportunities.
Intreo Work and Skills events gives you the chance to explore full‑time, part‑time and flexible job opportunities in your local area.
You can also learn about training options and courses that can support you to build and improve your skills.
These events bring you together with employers so you can talk about available roles and apply for vacancies.
Employers from a range of sectors will be actively recruiting at these events, and some vacancies can even be applied for on the day.
There is no cost to attend these events.
