Skypark is running an Inclusive Family Fun Day for Autistic Children and Children with Additional Needs and Disabilities.
This will be a welcoming event for autistic children and young people with SEND, their siblings, and families.
Featuring adapted activities, sensory-friendly spaces, and a supportive environment where everyone can participate at their own pace.
WHEN? Sunday, 5th July 2026 | 10:00am – 4:00pm @ Skypark Carlingford.
As one of Ireland’s largest outdoor adventure parks, Skypark are committed to creating memorable experiences that are accessible, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone.
This special event will offer families the opportunity to enjoy Skypark’s attractions at their own pace in an environment tailored to support sensory and accessibility needs.
Extra support on the day:
Skypark are pleased to welcome SENCO Sensory Solutions, who will provide an on-site mobile sensory van.
Throughout the day they will be offering a calm and safe space for children and families.
- To help create a positive experience for all visitors, Skypark has introduced a range of additional supports, including:
- Exclusive event access – Skypark will not be open to the general public on 5th July
- Additional check-in points to minimise queuing
- Increased staffing levels to provide extra support
- Designated quiet areas throughout the park
- Reduced noise levels where possible
- Staff guidance and awareness training to better support families during their visit
- Access to an on-site mobile sensory van
