The Royal Irish Academy of Music is delighted to invite you to take part in Exploring the Orchestra, a free neurodivergent & neurotypical friendly music camp series taking place this July 6th – 10th at Whyte Recital Hall, RIAM, supported by Matheson LLP.
Designed for children and adults who may benefit from a more relaxed and sensory-aware environment, this interactive programme introduces participants to the world of live music and orchestral instruments through performances, hands-on activities, and guided musical exploration.
Over the course of the week, we will introduce you to each of the four instrument families, through games, stories and performance, before bringing the whole orchestra together for our big concert on Friday.
At RIAM, we believe music should be accessible to everyone, and this programme reflects our commitment to creating inclusive artistic experiences that support participation, discovery, and connection through music.
