Theme: Spectrum of Strength
The Picture Voice Art Exhibition 2026 is taking place on Saturday, September 5th, 2026, in the TARA Building at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. This exhibition invites autistic secondary school students from across Ireland to create an original piece of art in any medium that expresses their experience of autism and responds to this year’s theme, “Spectrum of Strength.”
To enter, students simply create their artwork, photograph it, and email the image to picturevoiceartexhibition@gmail.com. Every submission will be displayed at the exhibition, with 10 selected entries that best capture the theme being professionally framed and featured more prominently on the day. Original pieces can be displayed also.
All entrants are warmly invited to attend in person or virtually and, if they wish, speak about their artwork and creative journey. The project has already engaged 13 secondary schools across Limerick, Clare, Tipperary, Galway and Dublin, with more expected to join.
