Ablefest Killarney, an inclusive, sensory friendly festival taking place on Sunday, March 15th 2026 in Killarney.
Ablefest is designed to be accessible, welcoming and fun for individuals of all abilities, their families and friends, with features such as sensory spaces, AccessoLoo and plenty of space to ensure everyone can participate comfortably and safely.
Ablefest want to invite people of all ages to attend and enjoy this unique event, particularly those with additional needs, neurodiverse learning profiles, sensory sensitivities, or mobility/access requirements. Ablefest Killarney is in its second year and if last year is anything to go by, this year will be a wonderful, accessible, social experience. It will also offer the attendees the opportunity to connect, relax and have fun in a supported environment.
This year, activities include live music from Retrograde, Supercéilí and Jake Carter. They also have interactive drumming, a trad hut, art, a silent disco, dance, boxfit, magic, nail painting, a teddy bear hospital, sensory friendly areas, carer’s area, food tents and much more.
