The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WDBS) is hosting an event in Carlow from the 21st to the 23rd of November 2025.
WDBS gives people with disabilities the opportunity to play cue sports around the world. As part of their event in Carlow, they have a FREE Friday Open Day, with expert coaches, plus a competitive event over the weekend.

WDBS has regularly staged snooker events for people with disabilities across the UK and beyond. Typically run over three days, events include a mix of open days at which anyone with a disability is encouraged to attend and try snooker, as well as competitive tournaments. Tournaments are open to people with a range of physical, learning and sensory disabilities, with players assigned to a classification group determined by their disability profile as set out within the WDBS Classification System.
The event coming up in November will take place from the 21st to the 23rd of November at SBI HQ, Carlow.
The Friday Open Day on November 21st, will run from 10am until 12.30pm, giving players with any disability or level of experience the chance to come and try snooker under the guidance of qualified WPBSA Snooker Coaches.
