The Experiences of Hospital and Health Care visits for Young Autistic People

Irina Riedewald is a 4th year Medical Student at University College Cork, and under the supervision of Dr Louise Gibson is conducting a research project on the experiences of hospital and health care visits for young Autistic people.
The purpose of the study is to help expand our knowledge of the experience- especially challenges- faced by young Autistic people in health care settings.
If you are a parent/guardian of an Autistic child who is between the ages of 8 and 18 and you wish to participate in this study, you will be required to complete a questionnaire online which will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Your participation is voluntary, and you are free to withdraw at any time. Should you decide to participate, the information gathered as part of this study will be used only in this study. No identifiable information about you will be used in the analysis.
