Exploring Social Care Practitioners Experiences on the Impact of Covid–19 Restrictions on Children with Autism.

Laura O’Dea is a 4th year undergraduate student studying Social Care Practice at the Atlantic Technological University Sligo. Laura is undertaking a dissertation on “Exploring Social Care Practitioners Experiences on the Impact of Covid-19 Restrictions on Children with Autism”.

The purpose of this research is to explore Social Care Practitioners experiences on the impact of COVID-19 restrictions on autistic children. Laura is looking for participants to take part in this research which will entail an online interview via Teams to answer some questions relating to your experiences working with children with Autism during the pandemic.

If you decide to participate in this study, you will be asked to sign a Consent Form. Participation in this study is completely voluntary. You may choose to not answer specific questions or change your mind at any time prior to or during the interview. After completion of the interview, you have the right to withdraw from the study up to two weeks after the interview has taken place. Participants cannot withdraw after the study is complete.
