Autistic Adults Attending General Practice

Amelia Phillips is a master’s student in Health Psychology at NUI Galway. Amelia is conducting a research study on the lived experiences of Autistic adults attending their general practitioner.
The primary aim of this study is to gain insight into the reality faced by Autistic people and to do so in a way which is respectful and accessible. To ensure this, Amelia is working with Autistic people on a co-researching panel as a form of public-patient involvement.
Participation in this study is open to Autistic individuals over the age of 18. Participants can either have a medical diagnosis of Autism or self-identify as Autistic. Participants must be living in Ireland.
Participation in this study is completely voluntary. You can withdraw from this study up to the point of data analysis which will be on July 7th 2023.
