Research Study

An investigation of service provision and the needs and challenges of families and children with Autism

Please read the below information regarding research that you may wish to participate in:

Helen Cahill and her supervisors Dr. Geraldine Leader and Dr. Sally Whelan from the Irish Centre for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Research are looking for parents of children with Autism aged between 3-17 years of age to take part in a study. They are studying the multi-disciplinary support services families are receiving since Progressing Disability Services for Children and Young Children was introduced. They would like to evaluate parent’s satisfaction with the new service, and they would also like to understand the impact it is having on parents and their children. They hope that this information will be useful in advocating for improved services for children with autism. The online survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
