Feeling Better Pain Management Programme for Children with Autism

Please read the below information regarding research that you may wish to participate in:

Rachel Fitzpatrick is a PhD student in the School of Psychology at National University of Ireland, Galway. Rachel’s research study is examining the current online version of the Feeling Better pain management programme for children with Autism. It aims to understand how suitable it is for children with Autism and what modifications are required.

Rachel would like to invite parents/guardians and children (aged between 5 to 18 years with an Autism diagnosis) to take part in this study which will examine the online interactive pain management programme for children with Autism who experience pain.

Participation will involve you and your child having access to the online programme, followed by an interview with the researcher discussing the programme (for example likes, dislikes, usability, etc.). After the modifications have been made you will be invited to have access to the Feeling Better ASD Programme.

Before you take part in the study you are required to answer some questions about your child to ensure that they met the requirements for this study.
