“Exploring parent/guardian experiences of the transition to adulthood and adult services for young Autistic adults with an intellectual disability”

Please read the below information regarding research that you may wish to participate in:

Kalem Mahon, as part of his PhD in Clinical Psychology with the University of Limerick, is conducting a research project exploring parent/guardian experiences of the transition to adulthood and adult services for young Autistic adults with an intellectual disability

You can participate in this research if…

  1. You are a parent/guardian/carer of a young Autistic adult with intellectual disability.
  2. You are willing and available to speak with the researcher by phone, online, or in person about your experiences of your son/daughter’s transition to adulthood and adult services.

Kalem would like to hear from as many parents as possible. Your participation is completely voluntary and it will be kept confidential. The interview will last for approximately 60 minutes, and you will be asked some questions about your experience of your son/daughter’s move into adulthood and adult services. You will be provided with further information and have the opportunity to ask questions.
