The Effects of Parenting Stress in Mothers of Children with Autism and Intellectual Disability

Martha Holian and Caoimhe O’Sullivan are final year students of Psychology in the National University of Ireland, Galway.

They are conducting a research study to examine factors that may influence parenting stress levels. It aims to focus specifically on five key areas in relation to parenting and Autism; parenting stress, coping, social support, challenging behaviour and self-efficacy.
