RESEARCH STUDY: Healthcare in Autism

Please read below information regarding research that you may wish to participate in:

Chloe Walsh a PhD candidate from the School of Medicine in the National University of Ireland Galway is conducting a study investigating the healthcare experiences of people with an Autism Spectrum Disorder in Ireland.

Their aim is to identify barriers or difficulties that might exist to accessing healthcare for people with ASD in Ireland. With this information they aim to develop a training programme for undergraduate healthcare students and healthcare professionals to make accessing healthcare a less stressful experience for people with ASD and their families.
