Jane Justin is a fourth year M.Sc. Student of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at Turning Point Institute (TPI) and University College Cork (UCC).
She is currently engaged in a research project as part of a dissertation for her master’s degree. The study is entitled: Attitudes to Psychotherapy among Parents of Children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The objectives of this research study are:
- To examine the attitudes to psychotherapy among parents of children with autism.
- To identify factors that influence attitudes to psychotherapy among these parents.
- To identify barriers to accessing psychotherapy among parents of children with autism.
Jane is seeking participants to take part in individual, face to face interviews. The interviews will be approximately 60 minutes long and will be audio recorded for research purposes only. Participation in this study is purely voluntary and you will be free to withdraw at any time up until final thesis draft is complete.
