Research: Social Skills Training

Please read below about research that parents can participate in –

“STAK is a personalised learning system which has been designed to support carers teaching social skills to children with autism. This learning system has been built to provide easy access to resources which will help Carers to teach social skills to this group of children.

The idea behind STAK is simple. Carers input some basic information into the application about their own level of experience and then create profiles for the children they are teaching ie learning style, language and comprehension abilities and knowledge of social skills. This information is then used by the system to tailor supports and resources for Carers which they can access through the Activity Centre on the site.

If you would like to take part in this research, please come along to an introductory workshop in the Recital Hall, Royal Irish Academy of Music ,36 Westland Row, Dublin 2, on Wednesday 17th or Saturday 20th July. You may indicate your preferred day and time at STAK Doodle
