Investigating Fears in Children between 1 and 16 years with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and their age matched Peers. Please read below information regarding research that parents may wish to participate in – Patricia Barber, a psychology student from N.U.I. Galway is conducting a research study investigating fears in children between 1 and 16 years with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and their age matched peers.
As well as investigating fears in children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, she is interested in finding out about the interventions employed to treat these fears and understanding the range of fears and associated interventions commons in children with ASD.
Patricia is looking to recruit parents of children with ASD aged between 1 to 16 years. No identification of children or their families is required when participating in this study and parents will not be contacted again. Parents are invited to email Patricia at a.barber@nuigalway.ie if they wish to receive the overall results of the study. Participation requires completing questionnaires.
