Describe Your Emotions Study

Adam Chambers and his colleagues Aisling Curtin and Sophie Cronin are a group of postgraduate researchers from the School of Applied Psychology at University College Cork (UCC). They are working under the supervision of Dr. Fionnuala Larkin, Senior Lecturer at UCC.

They would like to invite students with an Autism diagnosis to take part in their study which is investigating the ways that children describe their own emotions, to better understand what facilitates this. They are looking for children from the age of 5 to 7, with a diagnosis of Autism, but without an intellectual disability. To be eligible to participate children should also be able to use language fluently, as this study will ask them to describe their emotions verbally.
